Dear family and friends,
God truly showed us His blessings in 2013, as I hope He did for each of you. We are especially thrilled at all He did during the time our ministry team was in Moldova in the summer of 2013. We are pleased to say that He has given us the opportunity to return this year, but as the camp directors! Sharon humbly passed the ranks on to us! What a blessing it has been so far! God truly is Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we believe He is going to provide all that is needed for another successful Deaf camp!
As many of you know, we have been raising money for Moldova all year by using the skills neither one of us knew we had. Be careful what you ask of God, He is sure to give us all that we may ask or think. We have both opened our own businesses as fundraisers. What started as a hobby, God has turned to HIS successful, non-profit business for Moldova! We want to thank each of you who have already supported those efforts. Your purchases go further than you know!
Although Moldova is on the forefront of our ministry, that is not the purpose of this letter. God has opened another door for ministry that we feel led to take on! In May, we will make the move to L’viv, Ukraine for the summer. There, we will be working along side an American family, the Blessing’s, in their ministry. We have visited them the last 2 summers, and look forward to what God has in store for us! We believe this will be a time of growth, training, and mentorship, as we learn how to be missionaries from the best out there! We will be serving in their church, home, and an orphanage and anywhere else extra hands are needed. We live by the saying, “Here to serve.” And that is what we plan on doing! Being God’s hands to love on the people of Ukraine, in a time they need it the most. Deaf camp will be at the end of our summer, August 1-11. We will have the opportunity to go the week prior to do training with the Moldovan leaders! All we have to do is be faithful to what God is calling us to do and He will work out the details.
We know that many of you have already contributed to our Moldova Mission in different ways, but if you would like to consider contributing to our work in Ukraine it would be appreciated. We are looking to raise $2,000 total, for both us. Our expenses will be minimal, since we are living in the Blessing’s home, but needs include; partial rent/utilities, food, gas, train tickets and basic daily needs. If you would rather give with items, and not money, we have a list of things we will be getting here in the states and taking with us that we can pass on to you for help!
You can donate using Paypal email firstname.lastname@example.org or by sending a check to us at 2204 Rushing Meadows, Edmond, OK 73013.
Although the financial aspect is very important, nothing can happen without prayer. Even if you do not feel led to give financially, we ask that you would be committed to be in prayer for us. There will be a blog posted regularly, even when we are at camp, that we would love for you to follow! If you would rather receive an email, as in the past, please be sure to give that to us and we will add you to the list!
We are looking forward to what God has in store for both our time in Ukraine and Moldova! We appreciate your willingness to join us in prayer, and look forward to good reports throughout the summer with all God is doing!
God Bless You,
Daniel and Becky Woodall
